The department includes Typesetting, Reproduction and Press  branches.The main purpose of the department is to grow up technical teachers who will give printing education in Occupational and Technical High Schools and to serve skillful,qualified, cultured people to Turkish printing sector.

The lack of knowledge because of developing technology, made us who have to get more knowledge and use them efficiently in printing sector as in other areas. Todays printing must use scientific learning methods with computer technology.  During the time of Printing's execution, growing up people who knows the whole system,who are sensitive at human relations and who are successful at managing, is aimed. During four year education, the students take lessons in theoretical and practical ways , besides they work at private or public places for 60 days internship.

The students who graduate from this department, can work as a teacher of occupational and technical schools under Ministry of Education. In addition, they can be commissioned in administrative staff at private or public institutions.
