The department of Electronics and Computer
education offer two up-to-date taught programmes, including
undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Electronics. There are
also possibilities of Masters and PhD programmes.
Up-to-date information on electronics and computer technologies is
given with programmes aimed at both graduate and
under-graduate studies and in these areas research and development
activities are being held as well as providing public services. The
aim in undergraduate education programmes is to provide graduates
with skills and habits sufficient to teach in vocational schools.
Students are provided with sufficient information on special
teaching methods to teach in vocational schools. Students are
educated using latest computer technologies in parallel to the
technological advancements and they are donated with advanced
software and hardware education.
In order to prepare the students to academic career,
the graduate programs in the department of Electronic and Computer
education is concentrated on theoretical studies. There are over 200
national and international publications which belong to academic
staff of the department.
There are also vocational courses open to the public,
formation courses for MEB personnel and computer courses in the
department. The graduates of this department have job opportunites
in Technical and Industrial vocational schools and military schools
as a teacher. Also, they can find positions in other governmental or
private corporations easily.
